So, I am a huge fan of TV shows. But it's quite ironic, that I don't watch TV. If I am watching my favourite show, then it would be on the internet. I honestly am starting to think that in the coming future, the internet will be all we will ever need. And it is starting to be like that now.
The TV show which I have started watching these past two months is Merlin, and even though it ended, I just go to watch it. This show has been a huge time consumer, but since I love all that mystical and fantasy stuff I am in love with this show. (The same applies for books.)
I also enjoy watching shows like Doctor Who and Sherlock Holmes, and even Supernatural. (Honestly, I think it was Tumblr which got me into SH and Supernatural.) One day I would want to script a TV show or movie, but this is the satisfaction I get from writing. Because when the reader reads your story, they can make their own little movie or TV show just inside of their head, with their own characters and scenes based on what the words say on the page. Which is what I find truly amazing.

Life In The Country Of Cows.
So, as you might know, I live in the country of Cows and Cheese, and good chocolate. (Which is a shame, since I am not a big fan of chocolate, but I do love cheese and milk...) Living here has it's good points and bad points. I was born in Geneva, Switzerland, but I do not consider myself french in anyway. None of my family is french, and just because I was born here doesn't make me french myself, unless I consider it. That is really what I believe. I believe I am from England, London and Lebanon in the Middle East. There are a lot of different places, but I won't really get into greater detail.
Living here is quite experiencing, considering I've been here my whole life and I do not speak french, and go to a english school. I used to go to a french school and speak french perfectly well, but then being moved to a completely british school, and then a international one, I just completely forgot the difference between "Le" and "La" and also how to say "May I use the restroom?" in french. I mean seriously, if I want to use the bathroom in french, I don't want to be tested on my skills.
"Excuse me miss, may I use the restroom?" I say with the most sincere and greatest smile on my face only to be greeted with:
"If you say it in french, with proper grammar."
I swear one of my french teachers made me write out the conjugations of "manger" just so I could go to the toilet. (Ironic?)
Living here has it's good points as well, I mean it's kind of nice to be living in one of the most richest countries on earth, with the franc which is the highest valued currency yet. But things are bloody expensive. I mean you want me to pay five francs for chips at mcdonalds? No. Just no. And also, who wants to pay, to park, for a minute. I mean really? I stop of for two seconds, to visit someone sick in the hospital, and you charge me 10 francs or more? Come on.
Also. It's pretty boring here. Like when I have friends over, or go to friends places, we end up doing the same thing every time. Go to the closest mall, and sometimes, rarely, go to the cinema in that mall, when there is rarely a good english movie showing. I mean yeah, the town is pretty cool, but urm expensive. And hard to get too. And yes I guess there's the cheese and chocolate factory. (Not trying to be stereotypical...) But serisouly. I wanna live in England.

The Boy Who...
I just finished reading of the best books of all time. "The Boy Who Could See Demons" and it would of been wrong of me not to write about it. It's about this boy named Alex who has gone through a lot in his life, and when he's 5 years old he is told that his dad has died, and that is the same day which he starts to see demons around him. And there is this specific demon which he learns his name is "Ruen" and Ruen tells him that he is his friend, and Ruen starts to lead him into this whole journey for Alex, which comes with a lot of troubles and risks. This is the blurb on the back of the book:
"I first met my demon the morning that mum said dad had gone. My name is Alex. I'm ten years old. I like onions on toast and I can balance on the back legs of my chair for fourteen minutes. I can also see demons. My best friend is one. He likes Mozart, table tennis and bread and butter pudding. My mum is sick. Ruen says he can help her. Only Ruen wants me to do something really bad. He wants me to kill someone."
I remember when I was in London, at Waterstones and my mum had given me around 50 pounds worth of money to spend on books. But living in France, and spending most of my time in Switzerland, we have no english books, and no english graphic novels (such as Death Note, One Piece, and Naruto.) Since I am really into '' I bought a ton. But then a couple other novels caught my eye, especially this one. I picked it up. This was about year ago. I never really read it, Manga and I found in recently and I started to read it. And this is my all time favourite book. It is really hard to explain what happens in it, because you really have to read it to find that out.
The author Carolyn Jess-Cooke really brings suspense, and surprise after surprise and you really do not expect it. At some parts you might think it's repetitive and you can predict what's going to happen, and that's what I thought. But I was really wrong. And this book also has the best ending line, in history.
"But then a wind swept up and brushed the cloud on, and there was nothing in the sky but the first wink of stars."
I am truly sad that it has ended, and since it doesn't have a sequel. But the author has written many other books along the same context, just with different stories so I am really looking forward to that.
If you have time, or see this book in a shop, BUY IT, AND READ IT!! It is amazing.

Imagination.
I have always had a strong imagination. I know lots of kids and some teenagers do, but I mean scary strong. I remember when I was younger and all my friends would pretend that the floor was 'lava' and they would be jumping on different pieces of furniture, laughing. I remember once I started crying because I thought I fell into a burning pit of lava. I remember I used to play games with my friends and we would imagine dragons, and wizards and when things got bad, I would just imagine the magical world I wanted to be in.
I think this is what got me into writing. So everything I remember and conjure up in this little brain of mine, can actually become something. Whenever I read a book, the first thing which I always think of is: "Wow, this came from someones mind. Someones fantasy." And that is exactly which I want to do.

The Internet.
I cannot live without the internet. It is a need, I use the internet like I use oxygen. Without it, I seem lost, and sometimes even dead. Today my internet broke down for 15 minutes. It was the most stressful time of my life. I restarted the livebox and sat on the ground and stared at it until all the little green lights sparked up, for the sign that my life had came back.
To be perfectly honest, I find it kind of sad. I remember when I was young and the internet meant nothing to me, and all I would do is play and draw and sometimes even bike outside. Now it's like I'm on a drug addict to Facebook, Tumblr, and my computer. (His name is Carl.)
I am proud of myself though. I have controlled my time on the internet, and devoted it to reading, writing and studying. No that's a lie, I haven't controlled it at all. But I do read more than I used too. Which is...Okay I guess.
Sometimes I wish my mum used parental controls, so then I would get used to it, so when I had the free time without the internet, I could really do something productive. But sometimes I don't, I mean if I'm trying to defeat Fiddlesticks here with my friend, I don't want my bloody internet to shut down in the middle of a online battle!
I guess the moral to the story is, if the generation of teenagers today, are already like this. Pray to God it doesn't get too worse in the future.
